My “life experience” along with other professional and educational efforts are listed here. Its purpose is to show how each path I have walked and continue to walk, has delicately and purposefully been divinely intertwined, allowing my spiritual “self” and work to flourish into what it has become today.   

EXPERIENTIAL TRAINING:

1976-Present:
It was during this time that I was introduced into palmistry which eventually led me to discover and learn about my intuitive side.

Further exploring my interest in the spiritual/metaphysical side of life,I began reading extensively on various topics such as ESP, near death experiences, astral travel, spirit guide communication, etc. something I still enjoy doing today.

Developing my spiritual gift has enabled me to establish Within The Light and build a successful, professional career based not solely on my “life experience” as a psychic, medium and spiritual advisor but, enhanced by this fact. Other contributing factors, particularly God’s presence, has also fostered the success of Within The Light.

EDUCATION:

1995-Present:
Attended Mt. San Jacinto’s Satellite college in Menifee, Ca. and San Bernadino State part time as well, while raising my family, to pursue a B.S. degree in Psychology. I changed majors however, and am now currently enrolled at the American Institute of Holistic Theology to obtain a dual B.S./M.S. degree in metaphysics. I eventually hope to continue on to earn my doctorate. 

Sept. 2001:
Received a certificate of completion for 16 hours of Hospice training through the county of Riverside in California. This was a natural step for me to take, as transitions from this life into the next can sometimes be difficult for all loved ones involved and receiving inspiring and heartfelt messages from the other side can at times, ease this pain.

Sept.2002:
Held a “Communicating with your Angels” workshop taught by author Barbara Mark, well known for such books as Angelspeake and Heaven & Beyond. 

OCT.2002:
Certified in Chakra Therapy through the Universal Center For Healing. 

JAN.2003:
Successfully completed discipleship courses through the United Christian Faith Ministries and am an ordained minister.

FEB.2003:
Certified in Reiki I and II through the Universal Center for Healing.

June 2003:
Certified in Crystal Therapy through the Universal Center for Healing.

VOLUNTEER WORK:

AUGUST 1996-Present:
A writer since the age of 11 years old, I eventually parlayed my writing talents into a professional and successful career with Blue Mountain Arts greeting card company. In addition to my inspirational work being seen in over a dozen greeting cards, it is also featured in calendars and books as well.

And it is my love of writing which has allowed my professional creativity to evolve even more by offering many of my own personal works, in certain circumstances, on a volunteer basis as I have done over the years. Those who have experienced sudden and personal tragedies are often gifted with my encouraging and inspirational work, in an attempt to bring some measure of peace and comfort during their personal crisis.

JUNE 2001:
Volunteering time to the community is important for me and for the last two years I have been a visitor to a convalescent center in Sun City, Ca. where I have spent my time visiting with the elderly senior residents.

JULY 2002:
Offered my assistance to the Carlsbad Homicide Division on an unsolved murder.

NOV. 2002:
Acknowledged by President Bush in a letter, thanking me for an inspirational piece, “A Soldier In My Heart,” written for and dedicated to the men and women of the United States of America, who have so courageously given their freedom and their lives during the Middle East crisis. 

FEB. 2003:
Donated time to write an inspirational for the organization Garden of Angels, a non-profit organization which offers proper burial services for abandoned and discarded babies. Garden of Angels was featured in the Nov. 2002 Reader’s Digest magazine.
